Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 3, 2026 1. Overview SSH Remote is a mobile SSH terminal and server management application. This Privacy Policy explains what information SSH Remote may process when you use the website, mobile application and optional cloud services. 2. Direct SSH and SFTP connections Normal SSH and SFTP sessions are designed to connect directly from your device to the server you choose. SSH Remote infrastructure is not intended to proxy your terminal session. Terminal command contents are not sent to the SSH Remote backend as part of normal SSH operation. 3. Account information If you create an account, we may process your name or display name, email address, account identifiers, email verification status, language preference, account status, login/security events and linked device information required to operate the service. 4. Authentication providers If you choose Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple, we process the identity information returned by that provider, such as a provider account identifier and verified email address where available. Your Google or Apple password is not provided to SSH Remote. 5. Subscription information For Premium subscriptions we process store-related identifiers and subscription status needed to verify access. Payments are handled by Google Play or Apple App Store. SSH Remote does not receive your full payment-card details. 6. SSH credentials and cloud sync SSH passwords, private keys and other sensitive connection records should be encrypted on your device before optional Cloud Sync or Cloud Backup data is uploaded. The service is designed so the backend stores encrypted payloads rather than readable SSH secrets. Device key material may be stored only in wrapped/encrypted form required for multi-device recovery or synchronization. 7. Information we do not intentionally collect We do not intentionally collect the contents of commands you type in SSH terminals as backend analytics or application logs. We do not intentionally store SSH passwords or private keys as readable server-side log data. 8. Device and technical information We may process device identifiers generated for SSH Remote, platform, app version, push-notification token, last-active time, API/security events and diagnostic error information needed for security, fraud prevention and service reliability. Diagnostic reporting must not intentionally include SSH passwords, private keys or terminal command history. 9. Cloud backup and synchronization Cloud Sync and Cloud Backup are optional Premium features. Encrypted records, encrypted backup payloads, hashes, revision metadata, backup names, timestamps and non-sensitive usage counts may be stored to provide synchronization, conflict resolution and restore functions. 10. Notifications If you enable notifications, a device push token may be stored so we can deliver service, security, backup or subscription messages according to your preferences. Marketing notifications are optional. 11. Retention Account, security, subscription and service records are retained only as reasonably required to provide the service, protect users, comply with applicable legal obligations and resolve disputes. Automatic backup retention can be configured by the service. When an account deletion request completes, user cloud data is scheduled for deletion or anonymization according to the deletion process. 12. Account and data deletion You can request account deletion from the mobile application. Separate information about account deletion and cloud-data deletion is available on the Account Deletion and Data Deletion pages. Some limited records may be retained or anonymized where required for legal, fraud-prevention, payment or security purposes. 13. Security We use access controls, encrypted transport, rate limiting, session security, audit logging and other safeguards appropriate to the service. No online system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so users should also protect their devices, recovery secrets and SSH servers. 14. International use SSH Remote is intended for global use. Depending on where you live, your data may be processed in countries different from your own. We will apply the protections described in this policy and applicable law. 15. Children SSH Remote is intended as a technical server-management tool and is not designed for children. 16. Changes We may update this policy as the product changes. The current version and update date will be published on this page. 17. Contact For privacy or data-protection questions, contact the support address shown on sshremote.com.
