Last updated: October 3, 2026 1. Acceptance By using SSH Remote you agree to these Terms of Service and the applicable app-store terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. 2. Purpose of the service SSH Remote provides tools for connecting to and managing SSH servers, including terminal access, SFTP, local connection profiles, SSH keys, command snippets and optional Premium cloud features. You are responsible for ensuring you have authorization to access every server and system you connect to. 3. Your responsibility You are responsible for commands you execute, files you upload/download, port forwarding you configure and changes you make to remote systems. SSH Remote may warn before commands marked as potentially dangerous, but such warnings do not replace your own review or backups. 4. Credentials and device security You are responsible for protecting your device, account credentials, recovery information, SSH credentials and encryption secrets. Do not share credentials with unauthorized persons. 5. Acceptable use Do not use SSH Remote to access systems without authorization, distribute malware, interfere with services, violate law, abuse networks, infringe rights or perform other unlawful activity. We may restrict service accounts or cloud features when reasonably necessary to protect users, infrastructure or legal compliance. 6. Free and Premium plans Free and Premium features, limits and trial availability may be configured by the service and displayed in the app. Premium subscriptions are purchased through Google Play or Apple App Store where applicable. Store pricing, taxes, renewal, cancellation, refunds and billing rules are governed by the relevant store. 7. Subscription expiry When Premium access ends, encrypted user records are not intended to be deleted solely because the subscription ended. The app may restrict active use to the Free-plan limits until Premium is restored. 8. Cloud features Cloud Sync and Cloud Backup are optional. They are designed around encrypted client-side payloads, but you remain responsible for keeping recovery material available. If you permanently lose the information required to decrypt zero-knowledge data, SSH Remote may be unable to recover that content for you. 9. Availability We work to keep the service available, but cloud APIs, third-party identity providers, app stores, notification providers or hosting infrastructure may experience interruptions. Local direct SSH functionality is designed to remain separate from cloud-service availability where technically possible. 10. Updates and compatibility We may require a minimum application version for cloud/API features for security or compatibility reasons. Features may change as platforms, security requirements and third-party services evolve. 11. No warranty for remote systems SSH Remote does not operate or control the servers you connect to. We are not responsible for remote-server availability, configuration, data loss caused by commands, provider outages or third-party systems outside our control, to the extent permitted by law. 12. Limitation and mandatory rights Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent permitted by applicable law, SSH Remote is provided without guarantees beyond those expressly required by law. 13. Account termination You may request deletion of your account. We may suspend or restrict an account for material security abuse, fraud or unlawful use, subject to applicable law. 14. Changes to these terms We may update these terms when the product, legal requirements or store policies change. The current version will be published here. 15.
